Success Story: Achieving the Impossible

My name is Charlotte Jasmin, and I’m a senior at Hartford High School who has loved the game of basketball for as long as I can remember. After coming off an incredible junior year of high school basketball, I had accomplished so many goals I had worked toward for years. I reached 1,000 points and was honored to be named 2024-2025 Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year. Everything was pointing toward a huge AAU season and an even better senior season, until I tore my ACL early in the off-season. At that moment, everything felt uncertain. My biggest fear was that I wouldn't be able to return in time for my season. My main goal became simple: do whatever it takes to get back on the court.

That's when I began working consistently with Dr. Mike at Precision Osteopractic Therapy, and he quickly became one of the most important parts of my recovery journey. From the very beginning, Mike believed in my goal and helped me believe in it, too. Week after week, he pushed me, encouraged me, and introduced new exercises and strategies to help me rebuild my strength and confidence. His knowledge, motivation, and commitment made a huge difference in my progress. Rehab wasn’t always easy, but Mike kept me focused and reminded me why I was working so hard. Every session felt like another step closer to my goal. Because of his guidance and support, I was able to stay consistent and keep improving.

I ended up getting cleared just in time for my senior season. Being able to step back onto the court after everything was something I will never take for granted. The season turned out to be more special than I could have ever imagined. I helped lead my team to a state championship, reached 2,000 career points, and was honored to be named Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year again along with several other awards. There was a time when I truly didn’t know if I would play at all this season, so being able to accomplish those things means everything to me. I know that none of it would have been possible without the work that was put in. Dr. Mike played a huge role in helping me return to the game I love, and I’m incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and belief he had in me throughout the entire process. My recovery and return to basketball is something I’ll always be proud of, and Dr. Mike was a big reason why it happened.
